Job summary

The Arizona Humane Society is seeking a full-time Urgent Care Receptionist for our brand new Urgent Care Clinic at the Papago Park Campus. The role runs Wednesday–Sunday, 5:30 PM–2:30 AM, and requires a customer-service mindset to deliver a welcoming, efficient experience for pet owners.

Qualifications

• Experience in high-volume customer service or receptionist roles.
• Experience in the veterinary field preferred.
• Strong communication and English proficiency; Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and manage front-desk impressions.
• Handle high-volume calls and scheduling.
• Process check-ins, check-outs, and payments.
• Educate clients on clinic policies and services.
• Coordinate prescription refills and liaise with veterinary staff.
• Maintain accurate client and patient records.
• Address inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly and compassionately.
• Relay medical information from veterinarians to pet owners.
