As the Urgent Care Supervisor, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of our veterinary clinic, ensuring exceptional patient care while leading and supporting a team of veterinary technicians. In this hands-on leadership role, you will coordinate staff schedules, provide coaching and performance feedback, train and mentor new team members, and help foster a positive, collaborative work environment. You'll also partner with veterinarians to ensure seamless communication with clients, manage escalated concerns with professionalism and compassion, and maintain accurate medical records and clinic documentation.
In addition to your leadership responsibilities, you'll play an active role in patient care by supporting technicians as needed, ensuring clinic and surgical areas remain clean, organized, and fully stocked, monitoring medical supply inventory and DEA drug logs, and maintaining knowledge of current veterinary protocols and emergency procedures. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls, reach with hands and arms, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
