Jersey College seeks experienced Nursing Instructors to provide high-quality instruction and clinical education for LPN/PN and RN students across classroom, lab, simulation, and clinical settings.

The ideal candidate is an RN with an MSN or higher, strong clinical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and a passion for student achievement. Expect collaboration with faculty and clinical partners to uphold program standards and student success.

Qualifications

• MSN or higher nursing degree required.
• Current, unrestricted RN license in the applicable state.
• Minimum of 3 years of recent professional registered nurse experience.
• Clinical experience relevant to the nursing courses and clinical experiences being taught.

Responsibilities

• Provide classroom, laboratory, simulation, and/or clinical instruction to LPN/PN and RN nursing students, as assigned.
• Provide clinical instruction at long-term care, sub-acute, and acute clinical sites.
• Create a positive and supportive learning environment that fosters students' academic growth and professional development.
• Deliver effective instruction appropriate to the educational level and needs of LPN/PN and RN students.
• Supervise students in the clinical environment and promote safe, professional nursing practice.
• Evaluate student performance and clinical competence based on program philosophy, objectives, policies, and established standards.
