Responsibilities

• Assumes responsibility for safe patient transport from pickup to delivery or discharge.
• Prepares for and carries out transport of patients, belongings, equipment, supplies and medical records.
• Transfers patients using safe equipment and techniques; assists with patient lifts/moves as requested.
