Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Escort ambulatory patients and transport by wheelchair, stretcher, or bed while ensuring patient identification and safety.
• Assist nursing staff with moving and positioning patients using lift devices.
• Deliver beds, stretchers, and wheelchairs; clean and sanitize transport equipment between uses.
• Transport patient specimens and materials following infection control guidelines.
• Support transfer of documents, meds, x-ray films, and other items as required.
