Job summary

Qualifications

• Ability to work collaboratively with patient transportation and hospital staff.

Responsibilities

• Escort ambulatory patients and transport by wheelchair, stretcher or bed.
• Assist nursing staff with patient transfer and positioning.
• Deliver beds, stretchers, and transport equipment; clean and sanitize between uses.
• Transport specimens and materials following infection control guidelines.
• Maintain transport logs and operate dispatch system as assigned.
• Support emergency transports and triage transport assignments when needed.
• Adhere to departmental policies and safety regulations.
• Maintain reliable attendance and professional conduct.
• Perform other related duties as required.
