Job summary

Sanford Health is seeking a patient-focused food service team member for the Evening shift, delivering meals to patients and supporting room service systems. The role requires working evenings with rotating holidays and weekends, and hours from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm.

You will interact with nursing staff and care teams to ensure accurate meal orders, HACCP compliance, and quality service. Previous food service experience preferred, with on-the-job training provided.

Qualifications

• Direct customer service experience preferred.
• Previous food service experience and/or work with therapeutic diets preferred.
• On-the-job training provided.

Responsibilities

• Serve meals and snacks to patients.
• Maintain supplies and rotate floor items to PAR.
• Deliver room service menus and assist patients with meal ordering.
• Take and verify meal orders by telephone and ensure diet order parameters.
• Adhere to HACCP guidelines and maintain quality control.
