Job summary

Sanford is seeking a patient-focused food service worker to join the hospital's meal service team. You will serve meals and snacks to patients, assist with room service orders, and help ensure accurate diet order execution at the patient’s bedside.

The role requires effective communication with nursing staff and dietitians, adherence to HACCP guidelines, and a commitment to high standards of patient service. On-the-job training is provided, with rotating holidays and weekend duties.

Qualifications

• Direct customer service experience preferred.
• Previous food service experience and/or work with therapeutic diets preferred.
• On-the-job training provided.

Responsibilities

• Serve meals and snacks to patients in a professional manner.
• Deliver room service menus to patients and assist with meal ordering systems.
• Coordinate with nursing staff, nutrition techs and dietitians for diet orders.
• Maintain HACCP guidelines and ensure quality control.
