Job summary

Banner Health Corporate in Sun City West, AZ is seeking a Food Service Team Member to support dish room, cleaning, food preparation, patient trayline and retail café operations, ensuring portion control, quality and sanitation. You will work with the food service team to provide service to patients, families and staff while following safety and sanitation standards.

Shifts are primarily 4:00pm-12:30am, five days per week with weekend and holiday rotation, and include differential pay where

Qualifications

• Ability to learn and follow established policy and procedures.
• Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions.
• POS (cash register) when applicable.
• Food handlers' card required for Banner Staffing Services.

Responsibilities

• Sets up work station and prepares all assigned foods and nourishments in the correct quantities, following established procedures and portion control.
• Cleans and sanitizes dishes, utensils, and kitchen areas and monitors dish machine temperature.
• Maintains par levels of foods and supplies, restocks items and rotates stock.
• Checks and records food and equipment temperatures and reports discrepancies to supervisor.
