Job summary

The Brigham and Women's Hospital, Inc. is seeking a patient services associate to provide personalized assistance to patients, families and visitors during 40-hour evening shifts at our Boston campus.

You will guide patients through hospital services, assist with transportation, scheduling, and discharge information, and act as liaison between patients and staff to ensure comfort and a smooth experience.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with appointment scheduling systems and hospital software.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalized assistance and support to patients, families and visitors.
• Offer guidance regarding hospital services, visiting hours and procedures.
• Coordinate patient transportation within the hospital (wheelchair/escort).
• Serve as liaison between patients, families and hospital staff.
• Assist with appointment scheduling, rescheduling or cancellations.
• Greet visitors and share information on visiting hours, policies and amenities.
• Coordinate provision of comfort items and amenities to patients.
• Support discharge process with necessary information and resources.
