Jefferson Health is seeking a Regular Employee for the Patient Access role at the Cherry Hill location. You will register patients, collect demographics and insurance details, and verify coverage using tools like EPIC, Cerner, and RTE.

You will handle co-pays, referrals, and authorizations, while delivering compassionate service. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, with a preferred associate degree in healthcare or business administration and at least 3 years of relevant experience

Qualificações

• Requires high school diploma or GED; associate degree preferred.
• Minimum 3 years in hospital/healthcare customer service, preferably in Emergency Department.
• Current Jefferson Seamless Access Representatives with ≥1 year experience considered.
• Strong verbal and written communication and attention to detail.

Responsabilidades

• Register patients and collect demographic and insurance information.
• Verify insurance and determine patient eligibility; collect copays and referrals as needed.
• Answer phones for outpatient visits; verify and document medical necessity.
• Enter orders and ensure referrals/authorizations are on file.
• Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements and departmental protocols.
