Job summary

St. Louis Children’s Hospital is seeking a Part-Time Patient Access Representative II for our Convenient Care facility in O'Fallon, MO. This role is the first point of contact, handling registration, scheduling, insurance verification, and patient education.

You will work 3 days per week with 8-hour evening shifts, contributing to accurate patient records and smooth admissions while upholding our service standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associate's Degree preferred.
• 2-5 years of relevant experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Register patients and schedule visits within multiple BJC systems. Verify insurance and collect applicable patient payments when required.
• Provide patient education on financial responsibilities and prepare patients for procedures.
• Communicate effectively with patients and families to ensure a positive experience and accurate records.
