Total Access Urgent Care in the St. Louis area is seeking a Patient Access Representative to greet patients, guide them through check-in, verify insurance, and collect co-pays in a fast-paced clinic environment.

You will work 12-hour shifts, support EMR data entry, and collaborate with clinicians to ensure a smooth, friendly patient experience across multiple TAUC locations. The role offers competitive pay, a flexible schedule, and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation; may work between locations.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and check in 30–60 patients per day in a high-volume clinic setting.
• Input patient information accurately into EMR.
• Verify patient insurance coverage using online tools and EMR systems.
• Clearly explain co-pays, deductibles, and coverage questions.
• Collect co-pays and explain visit costs professionally.
• Handle sensitive conversations with tact and professionalism.
• Answer incoming calls and assist with patient questions or follow-up.
• Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure smooth patient flow.
• Create a warm, helpful front desk experience for every visitor.
