Job summary

Sentara Leigh Hospital in Norfolk, VA is seeking a Patient Access Representative for the Evening 2nd shift. Qualifications

• Two years of Customer Service and/or Data Entry experience required.
• Associate or bachelor’s degree can substitute for two years of experience.
• Proficiency in Keyboarding (typing speed and accuracy) desired.

Responsibilities

• Register patients by verifying identity and selecting correct records.
• Review schedules and physician orders to register for services.
• Explain and collect co-pays, deposits, and balances; process transactions securely.
