Job summary

Rosecrance Ware Center in Rockford, IL is seeking a part-time Peer Recovery Specialist to join our behavioral health team. You will participate in delivering outpatient services, assisting clients and families, and integrating recovery concepts into daily living, while upholding regulatory and ethical standards.

Responsibilities include coordinating lectures, providing peer crisis support, leading group activities, and collaborating with the treatment team.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED and RSA Rule 132 eligibility.
• Understanding of mental health and wellness.
• Ability to coordinate and present lectures for clients and families.
• Must have own transportation and valid IL driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Participate in delivery of outpatient behavioral health services.
• Facilitate recovery concepts in daily living.
• Provide peer crisis support and education.
• Lead peer-led groups and participate in team meetings.
