Rosecrance Ware Center in Rockford, IL is seeking a Part-time Peer Recovery Specialist to help deliver outpatient behavioral health services to clients and families, coordinating lectures and peer-led groups to support recovery.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Must qualify as RSA per Illinois DMH Rule 132.
• Understanding of mental health and wellness.
• Ability to coordinate and present lectures for clients and community resources.
• Must have own transportation and valid Illinois driver’s license.

Responsabilités

• Adhere to prescribed work hours set by leadership.
• Navigate transitions between treatment programs and levels of care.
• Participate in design, implementation, and evaluation of treatment solutions.
• Provide behavioral interventions and advocacy for individuals with behavioral health disorders.
• Deliver peer education and facilitate peer-led groups.
• Observe and support outpatient group programming.
• Facilitate focal group discussions and participate in team meetings.
• Comply with Rosecrance compliance program and code of conduct.
