Job summary

Rosecrance Health Network is seeking a Mental Health Recovery Specialist for 1st shift at the Rockford, IL location. You will supervise clients, support treatment plans, and help translate recovery into daily living with ethical, compliant care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must qualify as an MHP per Illinois Department of Mental Health Rule 132.
• Skilled in behavioral management techniques.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to quickly establish rapport.
• Computer proficiency required.
• Ability to navigate and complete documentation in the electronic health record.
• Ability to accurately complete required documentation within prescribed time frames.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to meet Agency insurance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervise clients in assigned program and participate as a team member in delivering treatment services.
• Facilitate recovery issues into daily living situations and maintain ethical, legal, and safe program services.
• Provide transportation of clients to Rosecrance buildings or hospitals as needed.
• Oversee cleanliness of the house and proper use of equipment and supplies.
• Attend staff meetings, treatment plan reviews, and committees as designated.
