Dartmouth Health in Lebanon, NH, is seeking an experienced contact center agent to serve as the initial point of contact for callers, patients, and staff in a 24x7 environment. You will determine urgency, collect information, and route inquiries appropriately.

The role requires prior healthcare-based customer service experience, strong communication, and the ability to work 3 days per week on an evening shift (2:30pm–12am) with rotating weekends.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• 1 year in telephone-based customer service, preferably healthcare.
• Ability to use computer/phone for extended periods.
• Ability to use multiple software programs in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; able to work independently or in a team.
• Initiative and self-accountability with good time management.
• Complying with D-H policies and standards.

Responsabilités

• Receive, transfer, and place calls with etiquette.
• Listen actively; use reasoning, problem solving, and quick responding.
• Answer questions and provide general information.
• Interact professionally with all individuals and provide assistance.
• Operate computer and telephone/paging systems.
• Provide exceptional customer service.
• Maintain a pleasant, professional demeanor with all users.
• Handle switchboard processes for emergency alarms and codes.
• Use mass communication notification tools.
• Respond to emergency codes following procedures (Code Blue, STAT Airway, STEMI, Stroke, Trauma).
• Perform other duties as required.
