Dartmouth-Hitchcock Health is seeking a frontline telephone-based customer service representative to serve as the first contact for callers, patients, and staff in a fast-paced 24x7 environment. You will collect essential information, triage inquiries, and refer or respond as appropriate.

Responsibilities include handling calls with courtesy, listening carefully, and maintaining professionalism while supporting emergency communications and general information delivery.

Formación

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• 1 year of telephone-based customer service experience, preferably in healthcare.
• Must be able to use computer/phone for extended periods.
• Strong communication and interpersonal service skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsabilidades

• Receives, transfers, and places calls using appropriate telephone etiquette and standardized greeting.
• Exhibits listening skills, reasoning, problem solving, and quick responding.
• Answers questions from external users and provides general information.
• Interacts professionally to foster exceptional customer service.
• Operates computer and telephone/paging systems proficiently.
• Responds to emergency codes following designated procedures when applicable.
• Performs additional duties as assigned.
