Job summary

Dartmouth Health is seeking a patient-care support associate for an inpatient unit in Lebanon, NH. You will act as front-line representative, assisting families and visitors, answering calls, and helping the unit run smoothly.

Responsibilities include maintaining regulatory and infection prevention standards, ensuring supplies and equipment are ready, and documenting patient status in HIS systems. Day shift with 0.90–36 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Proficient in computer skills and customer service.
• Ability to function in a fast-paced environment with strong organizational and prioritization skills.
• Preferred proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• High school diploma (or GED) strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as front line representative of the unit and assist families, visitors, and callers.
• Coordinate with the Unit leader to uphold regulatory, safety, and infection prevention standards.
• Ensure the unit is well supplied and equipment is functional.
• Utilize support systems and resources to document patient status and flow.
• Maintain up-to-date, organized HIS-compliant chart information.
• Access secure medication locations to manage storage, beyond use dating, and disposal per policy.
• Perform other duties as required or assigned.
