Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Graduate of a PCT program with hospital experience or CNA with EKG & Phlebotomy training.
• PCT certification through NHA or equivalent required/eligible with hospital experience.
• CPR certification (AHA) required on entry to the position.

Responsibilities

• Assists professional nurse in patient care and safety.
• Supports unit supplies, equipment, and environment maintenance.
• Participates in data collection for Quality and Performance Improvement.
• Assists nurse with patient admissions, transfers, discharges per unit procedures.
• Demonstrates infection control standards and patient confidentiality.
