Job summary

Talentify is seeking a part-time Customer Service Representative to support Dayton Freight customers with inquiries, rate quotes, freight charges, and shipment tracing. The role involves assisting the Service Center Manager, handling messages, and supporting drivers while ensuring top-tier customer communication.

Qualifications

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs.
• Excellent keyboarding and data entry.
• Experience in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail.
• Experience handling a high volume of phone calls.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Service Center Manager.
• Take and deliver messages for the Service Center Manager and Account Managers.
• Provide assistance to Drivers.
• Prepare bills of lading and delivery receipts.
• Maintain excellent communication with external and internal customers and interline companies.
• May assist with payroll, data entry, freight reports, driver collect reports, and billing.
