Job summary

VCU Parking and Transportation Services in Richmond, VA is seeking a Parking Facility Operations Supervisor to lead the operations of the Parking & Transportation Operations Center and a team of Facility Operations Controllers. The role requires strong supervisory, communication, and safety-monitoring skills.

The position involves monitoring 650+ security cameras, assisting callers at gates, enforcing parking guidelines, and overseeing PARCs access systems with duties assigned by Parking

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• Excellent customer service skills and civility with diverse populations.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to adapt to changing, sometimes demanding situations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Parking & Transportation Operations Center with a co-supervisor.
• Monitor safety using camera systems and PARCs equipment; dispatch as needed.
• Enforce parking regulations and assist customers at gates.
• Train and supervise Facility Operations Controllers; manage counts and vacancies.
• Investigate tailgating and access incidents; liaison with leadership.
