Job summary

SP+ in Annapolis, MD is seeking a Parking Enforcement Officer to monitor designated streets, lots, garages and campus spaces, ensuring compliance with parking policies and safety standards. You will provide courteous customer service, issue citations or warnings, and assist in maintaining meters, pay stations and signage.

The role involves collecting revenues, supporting event parking, data entry for permit sales, and coordinating with staff while working evenings 4pm-12am and weekends.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of geography of the area they are enforcing.
• Ability to interact with others in a courteous and tactful manner.
• Must be 18 years of age or older at time of hire.

Responsibilities

• Monitor designated streets, lots, garages, other public areas and/or an entire campus to ensure compliance with parking policies.
• Provide customer service by answering questions regarding directions, events, building locations and parking policies.
• Issue citations and warnings for non‑compliance with a computerized handheld computer or manual tickets.
• Assist maintenance staff with duties related to parking equipment and facility upkeep and maintenance.
• Assist in the collection and security of all monies received through parking meters and pay stations.
• Assist event staff with activities related to parking for events.
• Assist office staff with activities related to permit sales during peak seasons.
• Other related duties as assigned.
