Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required or preferred.
• Experience with adults with developmental disabilities and/or mental illness is preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing.
• Ability to document accurate participant records.
• Ability to follow directions and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Provide evening, overnight, holiday and weekend supervision on a rotating schedule.
• Assist residents with personal care, housekeeping, meal planning and basic activities of daily living.
• Administer and document medication administration.
• Assist with transportation as needed.
• Greets visitors, monitors safety and secures the home.
• Document daily progress notes and communicate needs to the management team.
