Job summary

Rappahannock Area Community Services Board is seeking dedicated staff to support adults with developmental disabilities in their homes and community activities. You will help with personal care, meals, and daily routines, ensuring adherence to each resident’s plan of care and safetyguidelines.

Responsibilities include supervising activities, transporting residents as needed, documenting progress, and coordinating with family and care teams to address health concerns.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• Experience working with adults with developmental disabilities preferred.
• Valid Virginia driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Provide support with daily living activities, personal care, and household tasks per each resident’s plan of care.
• Assist residents with social and leisure activities inside and outside the home.
• Assist with transportation and accompanying residents to appointments.
• Administer and document medications; monitor health and safety needs.
• Document daily progress notes and communicate with the care team.
