This role requires active Medication Technician Certification or experience with seniors, a valid Medication Manager Certificate, CPR/First Aid, and strong organization and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Active Medication Technician Certification in good standing or 1+ year of senior care experience.
• Must have approved Medication Manager Certificate from the Department of Inspection and Appeals.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Willing to take additional training or education as states may require.
• CPR and First Aid certifications are required.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities.
• Written and verbal communication skills.
• Organizational and time management skills.
• Good judgment, problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to utilize or learn Bickford’s eMAR system to administer medications.

Responsibilities

• Accurately follow resident MAR to administer medications per physician orders.
• Follow the Six rights of medication administration and Bickford policies.
• Utilize the eMAR system for medication administration.
• Communicate with clinical leadership for guidance on medication care.
• Provide direct resident care and supervise non-licensed team members as appropriate.
• Demonstrate the Bickford Mission 'Whatever it Takes' on shift.
