Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Familiarity with homelessness, substance use disorders, mental illness, or physical ailments preferred.
• Healthcare or human services experience is a plus.
• Basic computer skills for documentation and record keeping.
• Live Scan background check ability required.
• Availability for weekends, evenings, and overnight shifts.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and intake guests with empathy and respect.
• Oversee bed assignments, check-ins, and transitions.
• Respond to crises with de-escalation and coordinate with emergency services when needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and secure environment for guests.
• Document guest interactions and facility needs clearly.
• Collaborate with staff and volunteers to coordinate guest support.
• Drive passenger vans when needed for transportation.
• Adapt to indoor and outdoor environments in various weather.
