Job summary

Waystone Health & Human Services is hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSP) for Methuen, MA in a group home setting. You will assist with daily living activities, transport residents in a wheelchair-accessible van, and help with medication administration and documentation.

The role requires MAP certification (training provided within 6 months), CPR/First Aid (training within 3 months), and a valid driver’s license with at least one year of driving experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• MAP certification; training offered within 6 months of employment.
• CPR/First Aid certification; training offered within 3 months of employment.
• Valid driver's license with a minimum of one year of driving experience.
• Ability to read, write and comprehend English to follow care plans and communicate with others.

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals with daily living activities such as hygiene, bathing, dressing, feeding, grooming.
• Transport individuals using wheelchair-accessible vans.
• Complete Individual Support Plans (ISP) and daily logs; track behavioral data.
• Provide companionship, mentorship, and redirect behaviors.
• Maintain a clean, safe residential program; uphold rights and confidentiality.
