Job summary

Waystone Health and Human Services in Haverhill, MA seeks a Direct Support Professional (DSP) or Residential Skills Instructor. Responsibilities include assisting with ADLs, transport via wheelchair van, and documenting ISP plans in a group home setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• MAP Certification to be obtained within 6 months of employment.
• CPR/First Aid certification within 3 months.
• Valid driver’s license with at least 1 year of driving experience.
• Experience with adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals with daily living activities and personal hygiene.
• Transport using wheelchair accessible vans to appointments and activities.
• Complete ISP plans and maintain daily logs and behavioral notes.
• Provide companionship, mentorship, and redirection as needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and supportive residential environment.
