Job summary

Waystone Health and Human Services in Methuen, MA seeks a Direct Support Professional (DSP) or Residential Skills Instructor to support adults with daily living activities in a group home. Part-time positions (<25 hrs/wk) with evening and weekend shifts offer $21.63/hour and SEIU Local 509 union membership.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• MAP (Medication Administration Program) Certification; training to acquire within 6 months.
• CPR/First Aid; training to acquire within 3 months.
• Valid Driver’s License in good standing with at least 1 year of driving experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals with daily living activities such as personal hygiene, bathing, dressing, feeding, grooming, transferring and meal preparation.
• Transport individuals to appointments and community activities using wheelchair accessible vans.
• Complete ISP and daily logs, track behavioral data and document services provided.
