Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Surgical technology experience preferred for non-certified role.
• Able to assist in moderate to high acuity surgical cases.

Responsibilities

• Prepares operative suite and sterile field.
• Sets up sterile table with instruments and supplies.
• Assists surgeon by passing instruments during procedures.
• Maintains sterile technique throughout procedures.
• Cleans and prepares instruments for sterilization and storage.
• Mentors or trains students and new hires as needed.
