Wellstar Health Systems in Georgia is seeking a Surgical Technologist Non-Certified to support the operating room team under the supervision of a registered nurse. You will prepare the sterile field, assist with instrument handling, and anticipate needs to ensure safe, efficient procedures in moderate to high acuity cases.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Completion of accredited Surgical Technology program; OR LPN with OR experience preferred.
• BLS certification required; Instructor-level certification preferred.

Responsabilités

• Prepare the operative suite and sterile field for procedures.
• Assist with room setup, instrument handling and draping.
• Maintain sterile technique and patient safety throughout procedures.
• Assist surgeon and team with passing instruments and maintaining counts.
• Support performance improvement initiatives and comply with policies.
