Job summary

HonorHealth is seeking an experienced RN for the Operating Room evening shift at Shea Medical Center in Scottsdale, AZ. The position involves direct perioperative care, anesthesia support, and patient/family education within a high-volume OR.

The role requires a BSN preferred or ADN/ Diploma with BSN pursued within 60 months, AZ RN license, and BLS. 20k sign-on bonus is available for qualified candidates.

Qualifications

• BSN preferred; all Diploma/ADN hires must complete BSN within 60 months or have 5+ years RN experience.
• Arizona RN licensure at hire.
• BLS certification required; unit-specific certification as required.
• >10 months med-surg or acute specialty setting.
• 1 year RN experience for float positions.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient data and develop care plans; use ANA standards in practice.
• Administer medications and manage IV therapies with accurate dosing.
• Provide patient and family education on post-care and home management.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and rehab staff to coordinate care.
• Document patient progress and care plans accurately in the chart.
