Job summary

Providence is seeking a Patient Admissions Coordinator for on-call, evening, on-site registration and financial clearance across patient visits. You will collect demographic and insurance details, verify eligibility, and determine patient liability at service time, supporting compliant, efficient registrations.

The role emphasizes accurate data collection, friendly patient interaction, and adherence to regulatory guidelines while coordinating with the PAS supervisor/manager and revenue cycle

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience in Patient Access or Business office setting.
• Experience with insurance eligibility systems.
• 3 years of Utilization of medical terminology in job setting.
• Knowledge of medical billing codes.
• 1 year of Knowledge of Epic Applications.

Responsibilities

• Register patients on-site for scheduled and unscheduled visits and collect demographic information.
• Collect insurance information and patient liability at time of service.
• Perform financial clearance functions on assigned accounts.
• Greet and assist patients in a professional, friendly, and respectful manner, ensuring compliance.
