Job summary

Providence is seeking a Patient Admissions Coordinator for OnCall, Evening, onsite coverage. The role supports on-site registration and arrival for both scheduled and unscheduled visits, and handles financial clearance duties for assigned accounts.

Candidates will collect demographic and insurance information, verify eligibility, and ensure proper patient liability collection where applicable, while maintaining compliance and patient-focused service.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in healthcare or business administration.
• 3 years of experience within Patient Access or Business office setting.
• Experience with insurance eligibility systems.
• 3 years of Utilization of medical terminology in job setting.
• Knowledge of medical billing codes.
• 1 year of Knowledge of Epic Applications.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients during on-site registration and arrival process for scheduled and unscheduled visits.
• Complete financial clearance functions on assigned accounts.
• Greet and serve patients in a professional, friendly, and respectful manner.
• Adhere to regulatory and compliance requirements and document information timely and accurately.
