Job summary

Providence is seeking a Patient Admissions Coordinator - OnCall, Variable, Onsite in Mission Viejo, CA. You will assist patients during on-site registration and arrival, collecting demographics, insurance information, and patient liability at the time of service.

You will also perform financial clearance functions for scheduled accounts, greet patients professionally, and document all information accurately while adhering to regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in healthcare or business administration.
• 3 years of experience within Patient Access of Business office setting.
• Experience with insurance eligibility systems.
• 3 years of Utilization of medical terminology in job setting.
• Knowledge in medical billing codes.
• 1 year of Knowledge of Epic Applications.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients during on-site registration and arrival for scheduled and unscheduled visits.
• Complete financial clearance functions and collect demographics, insurance information, and patient liability when applicable.
• Greet patients professionally and ensure accurate, timely documentation in compliance with regulations.
