Qualifications

• Associate's degree in healthcare or business administration is required.
• 3 years of experience within Patient Access or business office settings.
• Experience with insurance eligibility systems.
• 3 years of utilization of medical terminology in a job setting.
• Knowledge of medical billing codes.
• 1 year of knowledge of Epic Applications.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients during on-site registration and arrival.
• Complete financial clearance functions for scheduled and unscheduled visits.
• Collect accurate demographic and insurance information, plus patient liability when applicable.
• Greet and serve patients to ensure a professional, friendly experience.
• Ensure all information is documented timely and in compliance with regulations.
