Job summary

Generac is seeking a Systems Support Specialist II to provide on-site technical support for desktops, laptops, phones, and peripherals at our Sussex, WI facility. The role includes assisting with server hardware, OS, network infrastructure and telephony, with escalation to higher tier experts as needed.

Ideal candidates have an Associate degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience and at least 2 years of troubleshooting PC, printer, phone, and network issues.

Qualifications

Associate degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
2 years of experience troubleshooting PCs, printers, phones and network issues.
On-site in Sussex, Wisconsin with 3:00pm–11:00pm shift.

Responsibilities

Provide hands-on support by installing, diagnosing, repairing, maintaining and upgrading laptops, desktops, phones, printers and peripherals.
Assist higher level specialists with server hardware, OS, network infrastructure and telephony.
Create documentation on issues resolved and root cause analysis.
