Job summary

Guardian Angels Senior Services is seeking a Nursing Assistant Registered (NAR) to provide resident-centered care under the supervision of a licensed nurse at Guardian Angels Care Center in Elk River, MN. This role emphasizes helping residents achieve the highest possible function and quality of life.

The position requires MN NAR registration, availability for evenings and every other weekend/holiday, and a commitment to confidentiality, safety, and compassionate care.

Qualifications

• Currently registered as a Nursing Assistant with the Minnesota Nursing Assistant registry.
• Prior nursing experience preferred.
• Must be 16 years of age or older.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality at all times.
• Self-motivated with ability to prioritize tasks.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct personal cares for residents under the supervision of a licensed nurse.
• Implement Restorative/Maintenance nursing programs as developed by Nursing Rehabilitation.
• Document cares provided and resident observations accurately.
• Assist residents to achieve their highest level of physical, cognitive, psychosocial, and spiritual function.
• Maintain a dignified, resident-centered environment and uphold HIPAA obligations.
• Follow universal precautions and infection control guidelines at all times.
• Adhere to current standards, guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
