Guardian Angels Care Center – Elk River, MN is hiring a Nursing Assistant Registered for a part-time night shift (10:30pm–7:00am). The role requires providing respectful, resident-centered care under a licensed nurse, and includes weekend and holiday coverage with a 32-hour-per-pay-period schedule.

Experience and Minnesota NAR registration are preferred. You will support residents to maintain function, document care, and uphold safety standards while fostering a compassionate, Christ-centered

Qualifications

• Currently registered as a Nursing Assistant with the Minnesota Nursing Assistant registry.
• Prior nursing experience preferred.
• Must be 16 years of age, or older.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality at all times.
• Self-motivated, ability to prioritize.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct personal cares for residents under the supervision of a licensed nurse.
• Document cares provided, resident observations, accurately.
• Assist residents to achieve their highest level of physical, cognitive, psychosocial, and spiritual function.
• Provide a dignified, resident-centered environment for residents.
• Follow universal precautions, infection control guidelines, sanitation and safety standards of practice.
• Comply with current standards, guidelines, state and federal regulations.
• Uphold confidentiality per HIPAA and Guardian Angels policies.

Schedule:

• 10:30pm - 7am Schedule.

• Must be available to work every other weekend (Saturday/Sunday) and holiday.

Position Summary:

The Nursing Assistant Registered (NAR) is responsible for providing respectful, resident-centered care and assistance to the resident under the supervision of a licensed nurse. They assist the resident to achieve their highest level of physical, cognitive, psychosocial, and spiritual function.

Job Duties:

• To provide direct personal cares for residents at their assessed level of function under the supervision of a licensed nurse.
• To provide Restorative/Maintenance nursing programs as developed by Nursing Rehabilitation
• To accurately document cares provided, resident observations.
• To assist the resident to achieve their highest level of physical, cognitive, psychosocial, and spiritual function.
• To assist in providing a dignified, respectful, resident-centered environment for residents.
• Follows universal precautions, facility infection control guidelines, sanitation and safety standards of practice in all work and activities.
• All duties will be performed in accordance with current standards, guidelines, state and federal regulations.
• Uphold confidential information as required by Guardian Angels Care Center policy and procedure and as related to HIPPA.
• Uphold the mission, vision, and values of Guardian Angels.
• Performs all other duties as assigned.
