Job summary

Guardian Angels Care Center – Elk River, MN is seeking a Nursing Assistant Registered to provide resident-centered care under licensed nurse supervision. The role supports residents’ physical, cognitive and psychosocial needs while documenting care and observations accurately.

The position requires MN Nursing Assistant registration, is part-time with a 10:30pm–7am shift, and includes a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Current registration as a Nursing Assistant with the Minnesota Nursing Assistant registry.
• Prior nursing experience preferred.
• Must be 16 years of age or older.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality at all times.
• Self-motivated, able to prioritize.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct personal care for residents at their assessed level of function under the supervision of a licensed nurse.
• Provide Restorative/Maintenance nursing programs as developed by Nursing Rehabilitation.
• Accurately document cares provided and resident observations.
• Assist the resident to achieve their highest level of physical, cognitive, psychosocial, and spiritual function.
• Assist in providing a dignified, respectful, resident-centered environment for residents.
• Follow universal precautions, facility infection control guidelines, sanitation and safety standards of practice.
• Perform all duties in accordance with current standards, guidelines, state and federal regulations.
• Uphold confidential information as required by Guardian Angels Care Center policy and HIPAA.
• Uphold the mission, vision, and values of Guardian Angels.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
