Job summary

Guardian Angels Senior Services in Elk River, MN is seeking a Nursing Assistant Registered (NAR) for a part-time position on the 6am–1:30pm shift. You will provide direct personal care under a licensed nurse, document activities, and support residents to achieve optimal function while maintaining dignity and confidentiality.

Experience as a Nursing Assistant and Minnesota registry status are preferred; must be at least 16 years old.

Qualifications

• Currently registered as a Nursing Assistant with the Minnesota Nursing Assistant registry.
• Prior nursing experience preferred.
• Must be 16 years of age, or older.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality at all times.
• Self-motivated, ability to prioritize.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct personal cares for residents under the supervision of a licensed nurse.
• Provide Restorative/Maintenance nursing programs as developed by Nursing Rehabilitation.
• Accurately document cares provided and resident observations.
• Assist residents to achieve highest level of physical, cognitive, psychosocial, and spiritual function.
• Maintain a dignified, resident-centered environment; uphold HIPAA and confidentiality.
