Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Availability to work off-shift including evenings, overnights, weekends, and holidays.
• One or more years of experience in transportation, dispatch, or customer service is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Dispatch drivers and process inbound messages via in-cab system.
• Send load plans and route info so drivers trip plan effectively.
• Maintain ETAs and PTAs in the system.
• Monitor Hours of Service (HOS) for assignments.
• Notify day shift when plans won't work.
• Plan drivers and arrange rescues to protect service.
• Escalate emergencies to on-call manager per procedure.
• Document driver communications for shift handoff.
• Support driver retention with prompt, professional responses.
• Ensure DOT/HOS compliance and safety procedures.
• Cross-train with departments and participate in training.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
