CRST The Transportation Solution, Inc. is seeking a Dispatch Manager in Cedar Rapids to coordinate daily dispatch activities, manage freight movement, and maintain clear driver communication for safe, on-time service.

You will partner with internal teams to support operations, driver engagement, and service reliability across shifts, including off-hours coverage. Strong logistics and DOT knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: Dispatch, logistics coordination, or fleet operations.
• Knowledge: DOT regulations and Hours of Service.
• Skills: Strong communication, organization, and multitasking.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily dispatch activities to ensure safety and on-time performance.
• Coordinate freight movement and maintain driver communication.
• Collaborate with fleet managers to ensure consistency across shifts.
• Ensure DOT/HOS compliance and report safety concerns.
• Track load status, driver availability, and service metrics.
• Coordinate with planning, maintenance, and customer service teams.
• Identify recurring issues and propose improvements.
• Provide coverage for 24/7 operations as needed.
• Maintain reliable attendance and perform other duties as required.
