Job summary

Spring Health is seeking independently licensed mental health professionals to join the Care Navigation team in New York. The role involves providing in-the-moment clinical support, crisis assessment, and referrals via a clinical phone queue.

Requirements include LCSW/LMFT/LPC or licensed psychologist with 2+ years of direct clinical care. Expect flexible shifts Tuesday through Saturday, 4:00PM–12:30AM ET, and a competitive hourly base.

Qualifications

• LCSW, LMFT, LPC, or licensed psychologist.
• Minimum of 2+ years of direct clinical care experience.
• Expertise in crisis assessment and safety planning
• Knowledge of crisis support, CBT, motivational interviewing, mindfulness, and solution-focused interventions.
• Fully engaged with no interruptions during shift
• Excellent listening, written and verbal communication skills.
• Acknowledge and embrace diversity and inclusion.
• Motivated to go above and beyond for members to provide a high-touch experience.
• Tech-savvy and comfortable with various computer platforms
• Able to multitask and switch contexts

Responsibilities

• Provide in-the-moment clinical support and crisis referral connections.
• Utilize active listening, motivational interviewing, and solution-focused approaches.
• Assess risks, provide crisis support and safety planning.
• Coordinate care with Spring Health therapists, coaches, physicians, or external resources.
• Offer after-hours support and liaison with Global/Management teams.
• Prepare professional documentation and communicate with members/providers by email.
• Follow care management outreach protocols and problem-solve barriers.
• Coordinate with care providers and Provider Operations for a smooth member experience.
• Collaborate with Care Support, Benefits/Billing, and Product teams.
• Participate in staff meetings, case consultations, and trainings.
• Assist with onboarding and mentoring new team members.
• Maintain confidentiality, compliance, and ethics.
