Qualifications

• Active Medication Technician Certification or 1+ year of senior-care experience.
• Must have an approved Medication Manager Certificate from the Department of Inspection and Appeals.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• CPR and First Aid certifications required.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
• Ability to use or learn the eMAR system for medication administration.

Responsibilities

• Follow the resident MAR to ensure medications are given per physician orders.
• Adhere to the Six Rights of Medication Administration and internal policies.
• Utilize the eMAR system for medication administration.
• Communicate with clinical leadership for clarification and direction.
• Provide direct resident care and supervise non-licensed team members as needed.
