Job summary

Atrium Health Pineville Lab is seeking a part-time Medical Laboratory Technician to join a self-directed team. The role supports testing procedures, QA, and inventory management while adhering to CAP/TJC/OSHA requirements.

The ideal candidate will work 6:30pm-7am, every other weekend, with eligibility for MT/MLS certification within one year of hire. Strong organization and adaptability are essential in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• MT (ASCP) or MLS (ASCP) or equivalent registry eligible within one year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Performs laboratory analysis and ensures quality and safety in testing procedures.
• Prepares reagents and maintains inventory to minimize waste and cost.
• Exercises clinical judgment to prioritize tasks and troubleshoot with specialists when needed.
• Reviews and revises procedures to comply with accreditation requirements.
