• Performs and provides accurate laboratory test results on human patients.
• Prepares and issues blood components for transfusions.
• Assists in collection and transport of patient samples from clinics to lab sections.
• Handles hazardous materials per regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
• Requisitions and maintains inventory of supplies and equipment.
• Supervises and trains students and lower-level technicians.
• Operates complex specialized laboratory instruments and trains others.
