Job summary

Everett Public Schools seeks a Day 6 Program Math Teacher for Everett High School in Everett, Massachusetts. The program re-engages students who have dropped out or are at risk, expanding the Day 6 into a Saturday/Night Center.

Qualifications include a Bachelor’s Degree, Massachusetts Teaching Licensure, and SEI Endorsement. A Master’s Degree and HQIM knowledge with educational tech tools are preferred. In-person setting, evenings only.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• Massachusetts Teaching Licensure required.
• SEI Endorsement required.

Responsibilities

• Plan and facilitate Math lessons for in-person and hybrid learning.
• Teach daily mini-lessons in Math to small groups.
• Create assignments on a technology platform.
• Monitor progress and provide feedback to students.
• Use or learn a technology platform to monitor progress.
• Collaborate to support students with IEPs and English Learners.
• Engage in professional development to close opportunity gaps.
• Refer students needing social-emotional support with counselors.
